Responsibilities

Familiarity with product functional and design specifications

Familiar with reviewing and approval of program compliance matrix

Participates in milestone reviews for completion to MRR and TRR

Identifies and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products and production equipment based on program needs

Performs defect and statistical analysis to assess the cost of, and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications

Proficient in the application and use of the NCR, MRB, RCCA, 5-Why, 8D, etc., programs

Investigates and thoroughly understands developments in quality assurance specifications and standards

Conducts audits Internal/External and submits reports

Communicates and resolves QA issues on an as needed basis

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Required

Bachelors Degree

Minimum 5 years of Quality experience in Electro-Mechanical products

Experience with AS9102 FAI format and requirements

Preferred

Understanding of AS9100/ISO Requirements

Working knowledge and understanding of basic electronic principles, PCB manufacturing and environmental testing

Certification and/or knowledge in IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-2220 family, IPC-6012/6013, and IPC-A-600

Certification in IPC-A-610 – Acceptability of electronic assembly

CQE/CRE
