The role involves developing and establishing the Treasury function across their Alternative Investment platform, managing liquidity, and mitigating financial risks while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the development, implementation and management of Treasury related systems, policies and operations
Liquidity management/forecasting and investment of cash portfolios
Analyse and execute hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks related to foreign exchange and interest rate markets
Negotiate and execute funding programs including credit facilities, subscription lines, NAV/asset-backed facilities.)
Ongoing compliance of credit facilities
Develop and maintain bank relationships across multiple coverage segments including corporate banking, foreign exchange, financial sponsors, interest rate desks and fund finance/asset-backed lending
Advise Finance and Operations teams on Treasury specific items
Oversee the management and operations of both the Back Office and Front Office Treasury functions
Develop and implement treasury strategies that align with the company’s financial goals
Manage liquidity and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate risks
Collaborate closely with senior management to forecast financial outcomes and prepare reports
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain strong banking relationships
Qualification
Required
8-12 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Accounting and/or FP&A
Relevant experience within the asset/investment management industry
Proficiency with Bloomberg terminals, Treasury Management Systems (TMS), and bank platforms
Solid understanding of monetary markets, foreign exchange, interest rate markets, hedging strategies etc
Profound knowledge of Back Office and Front Office Treasury operations and systems
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills
Proficiency in managing financial risks and compliance with regulatory frameworks
Capability to work collaboratively across departments and with executive management
Preferred
Proven experience in credit facility negotiation (ideal)
