Lead/StaffFidelity Investments is seeking a Director of Fixed Income Strategy to join their Brokerage Product and Offerings organization. The role involves developing bond offerings, maintaining databases, and working with various internal and external partners to enhance Fidelity’s fixed income business.

Responsibilities
The Director’s primary responsibilities upon joining will be in the development and curation of a defined set of bond cusips for their display on Fidelity.com and in ensuring their successful trading working with partners in Brokerage Products Delivery and Fidelity Capital Markets
The Director will work with the team’s Municipal Supervisory Principal (MSP) to gain an understanding of how Fidelity’s bond offering is compiled and monitored on a daily basis
The Director is expected to become proficient in performing and documenting the required inventory and trade reviews with the MSP, and independently over time
The work will involve creating and maintaining a database that will distill the bond offerings from our wider list of bond offerings by integrating multiple data sources and reference libraries
Thorough developing an understanding of Fidelity’s fixed income brokerage business, the Director will be able to fully contribute to the team’s process of, competitor monitoring, idea-screening and evaluation, and in the prioritization of new product development proposals
You will have the opportunity to work with internal Distribution, Research, and Delivery partners as well as outside vendors
The range and scope of the work is broad, contributing at both an operational level with marketing and representative communications, and in contributing towards assessing future product development opportunities to grow our fixed income business
Experience and a strong interest in investing, and in fixed income markets in particular
Proficiency in data analysis, Excel or other database skills
A passion for product development and to create software products that will be valued by customer and outshine those of Fidelity’s competitors
Strong presentation skills
A team player who enjoys a high degree of work autonomy while also being committed to becoming a reliable and accountable colleague
Qualification
Required
Experience and a strong interest in investing, and in fixed income markets in particular
Proficiency in data analysis, Excel or other database skills
Strong presentation skills

A bachelor's degree in economics, business, or STEM field
Series 7, 63 required or commitment to acquire within 3-4 months in role
Preferred
Advanced degrees a plus
