The Equities Sales & Trading Summer Internship offers hands-on experience in a trading environment, where interns will shadow professionals, assist with client interactions, and analyze market activities.

Responsibilities

Shadowing BDs and EQS coverage during live trading sessions
Monitoring real‑time activity in the Liquidnet system to understand market flows
Assisting with client requests and onboarding in collaboration with product support and legal teams
Supporting the Sales team with client performance analysis and reporting
Learning how Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) informs execution strategies
Contributing to desk‑specific projects that improve client engagement and trading efficiency
Conducting ad hoc analyses to investigate trading or operational issues

Required

Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and pursuing a bachelor's degree
Have an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
Be authorized to work in the United States (we do not offer visa sponsorship)
Relocate at own cost if applicable; Liquidnet does not provide relocation or housing assistance
Passionate about financial markets and client interaction
Strong communicators who can build relationships and collaborate effectively
Curious learners with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Adaptable and composed in fast‑changing, high‑pressure environments
Organized and able to manage multiple tasks with precision
Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
