Accounting Adjunct Instructors
Virginia's Community College System is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia, serving a diverse student population. They are seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach Accounting courses, contributing to the educational development of students in various campus locations.

Responsibilities
Teach Accounting courses as part of the adjunct faculty
Perform other duties as assigned
Assist the agency or state government in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Accounting; or Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting
The selected candidate must be able to successfully pass the college's pre-employment security screening
Minimum of a single current professional certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Preferred
Two (2) plus years related occupational experience in related field
Teaching experience in one or more college level courses in the subject area Financial and Managerial Accounting
Demonstrated ability to employ multiple teaching strategies in an online environment
Demonstrated ability to incorporate technology routinely into instructional and faculty responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with multi-cultural populations that support diversity, cultural understanding and inclusion
