HR Shared Services Specialist (Onsite)
TM Floyd & Company is seeking an HR Shared Services Specialist to join their team in Charleston, SC. This role involves processing payroll, maintaining time systems, and providing customer support while collaborating with HR team members on various tasks and projects.

Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly or weekly payroll for one or more operating companies, including auditing hours, processing commissions, calculating checks, and handling special pay scenarios
Maintain and update time systems, compute and audit employee timecards, coordinate with Treasury and AP teams, and ensure legal compliance for new hires, changes, and terminations
Manage employees on leave (FMLA, STD, LOA) in collaboration with the benefits team
Provide Tier 1 HRSS customer support, respond to unemployment inquiries, handle employment verifications, complete state-required reports, act as a liaison with operating companies, process inter-company transfers, and research and resolve problems
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR team members, maintain operating company fact sheets, assist with training, presentations, communications, and policies, and participate in special projects and implementations
Scan and archive personnel documents, assist with audits, and prepare ad hoc reports
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of relevant work experience required
Must be able to work in a team environment with strong communication, interpersonal, and PC skills (especially Excel)
