They are seeking a Graduate Intern for their Career P.A.T.H. Internship Program to provide structured learning experiences and support management on various projects within the health care domain.

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision performs a variety of projects or one large project in accordance with specific instructions and established work procedures. This position is for a graduate college level student who is hired to support management with projects plans and related activities. May require taking a lead role in a project or working on a team that is leading project. Receives project guidelines/instructions from management and delivers within the scope of their responsibility a finalized product
Participates in department activities as required and provides support as needed which may include analysis and research
Complies with established departmental policies, procedures and objectives
Attends variety of meetings, conferences, seminars as required or directed
Demonstrates use of Quality Improvement in daily operations
Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements
Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors
Maintains, regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed

Required

Requires a Bachelor's Degree
Ability to work independently
Ability to work well with public and staff, and as a team member
Requires excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Excellent problem-solving skills and a demonstration of emerging leadership skills
Must be able to follow instructions with minimal supervision
Good research skills and willingness to learn new skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail and produce high–quality work is a must
Must have good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office programs

Preferred

Some areas may require a student to be enrolled in a graduate school program
