Data Analyst
The California Department of Health Care Access and Information is dedicated to ensuring healthcare access for Californians. The Data Analyst will support data-related projects, conduct analyses, and develop reports while utilizing various software tools to enhance data management and reporting processes.

Responsibilities
Assisting with the review and fulfillment of data requests
Planning, organizing, and conducting basic to moderately complex analyses of data assets
Supporting the development of reports that summarize data findings and outcomes
Applying knowledge of data provisioning, validation, testing, standardization, and reporting/dissemination
Utilizing a variety of software tools to conduct research, perform data analyses, and create data visualizations
Understanding of best practices for data collection, management, and reporting processes
Qualification
Required
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment

Official sealed transcripts will be required upon appointment

All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position
The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) should be a narrative no longer than two pages in length (Arial 11-point font) describing your education and experience as it pertains to the duties and desirable qualifications listed
