The role involves overseeing travel and expense programs, corporate card administration, and cash-related accounting activities while managing daily cash activity and ensuring compliance with financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Manage daily cash activity by recording bank transactions in the ERP system

Reconcile cash and related accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy across reporting periods

Prepare and submit sales tax filings and other required compliance reports

Serve as the primary administrator for the company’s travel and expense platform, supporting booking, reporting, and system maintenance

Oversee corporate credit card and purchasing card programs, including card issuance, reconciliation, and ongoing management

Assist with the Accounts Payable process to ensure timely payments and resolve discrepancies as they arise

Work closely with the accounting team to improve expense posting accuracy and general ledger integration

Analyze travel and expense data to identify patterns, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements

Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for employees on systems, policies, and best practices

Support system integrations between T&E tools and accounting platforms such as payroll and ERP systems

Assist with additional accounting operations projects as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting or accounting operations

Experience with travel and expense systems such as SAP Concur, Expensify, or similar systems

Experience managing corporate credit card and purchasing card programs

Strong understanding of cash management, reconciliations, journal entries, and expense workflows

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
