Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring optimal operation of servers and networks
Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive information and systems
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
Assist in the deployment of new applications and system upgrades
Collaborate with team members to develop and document operational procedures
Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance system security and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field strongly preferred
2+ years of experience in system administration or IT support
Strong Technical knowledge with emphasis on system security and a desire to expand into compliance and facility security operations with time
Requires acute attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills
Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments including supporting Active Directory and Windows Server environments
One or more Security-related certification (e.g., Security+, CyberOps, CCSP) or Network-related certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to obtain a security clearance at Secret level
Preferred
Prior military service or experience supporting military or defense programs
Experience with compliance frameworks such as CMMC, NIST 800-171, or similar
Background or exposure to Facility Security operations, NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), or cleared environments
