Sr Manager, Business & Market Development, Americas

Kemira is a global leader in sustainable chemistry for water intensive industries, and they are seeking a Sr Manager, Business & Market Development for their Packaging & Hygiene Services Business Unit in the Americas. This role focuses on driving strategic business expansion and market penetration through the identification of new business opportunities and execution of market development plans.

Responsibilities

Establish best-in-class processes to evaluate and prioritize growth opportunities
Ideate and develop business cases aligned with BU strategy
Drive M&A input and strategic partnerships to expand market access
Fill product development funnel and manage NPD process through pre-commercial planning
Lead multiple development programs to enable growth and profitability
Monitor market trends and define actionable gaps in offerings
Collaborate with product line management and sales to ensure competitive advantage
Support pricing strategies and portfolio management
Develop and execute market development plans to increase penetration and share
Use market intelligence to forecast opportunities and inform strategy
Create targeted offerings for high-growth areas and clients
Drive accelerated commercial launches and cross-selling initiatives
Formulate and maintain comprehensive BU marketing plans
Participate in external events to strengthen strategic client relationships
Establish scalable lead follow-up processes to ensure timely execution
