Responsibilities
Design and maintain an effective tracking system of persons admitted via professional referral sources to the facility
Contact referral sources after referral to acknowledge admission and provide appropriate information; Set up communication log, obtain releases, distribute information to referral sources
Respond to specific requests and needs of referral sources for information or materials, including, admission procedures, program descriptions and treatment plans
Plan and lead events, provides tours, perform referral source in-services, act as a liaison between the Referral Source and the hospital, and seek out new business development opportunities for the hospital
Develop new accounts and market in the private and public sectors as directed by the CEO and Director of Business Development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and experience in Marketing, Business, Social Work or the Mental Health Field
Minimum of three years of experience in behavioral health
A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations
An advanced knowledge of state and federal resources and organizations related to behavioral health management
Ability to travel a minimum of 75% of the time
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
