Demonstrate proven ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with students, staff, and faculty peers
Primary assignment will be with the Master of Science in Systems Engineering (MSSE) graduate program, but may be requested to teach for related undergraduate programs as needed
Qualification
Required
Must have at least five years of applicable work/industry experience
International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification - active & in good standing
For a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment, applicants must have a minimum of a PhD degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline
For a non-tenure track Instructor position, applicants must have a minimum of a Masters Degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline and either be currently pursuing or commit to earning a PhD in Systems Engineering or related discipline
The person hired must either already be a Utah resident or be willing to relocate to Utah
Applicants must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
They must also demonstrate proven ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with students, staff, and faculty peers
Preferred
PhD in Systems Engineering or related discipline and with university-level teaching experience, as well as those with additional work experience and additional teaching experience in Systems Engineering programs similar to those at Weber State University
OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Language (SysML) Professional (OCSMP) certifications and/or International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB) certifications
