Responsibilities

Work towards agreed upon mid-and-term goals
Learn to use professional concepts. Apply knowledge and basic problem-solving techniques to define and resolve problems. Determines a course of action based on guidelines
Collaborate with colleagues in key areas, with focus on providing standard professional advice and creating initial reports/analysis for review by experienced team professionals
Improve your professional skills by creating innovative concepts based on high-level requirements or problem statements. Develop these concepts through various analyses, verify the design by conducting functional testing of prototypes, summarize the results, and justify your design during reviews with peers
Analysis and test: Perform and explain basic structural analysis to support design using a mixture of hand calculations, FEA and physical testing
Create assembly and detailed drawings using basic GD&T
Evaluate electronics thermal requirements using classical heat transfer methods and CAD/FEA tools
Develop leading industry products based on sound engineering principles that: Supports electronics packaging solutions for complex air and liquid cooled designs Consider design reliability in various thermal operating environments Consider end user constraints, cost, product quality, reliability and time to market
Contributes to initiatives throughout the company
Develop a deep understanding of tolerance analysis
Develop skills in finite element analysis
Motivates other team members to reach new heights

Required

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Fundamental knowledge in SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, and SolidWorks FEA
GD&T Standards knowledge
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities, capable of leading own design reviews
Positive, Driven and self-motivated personality
Proficiently write and communicate critical quantitative and qualitative reports using the Microsoft Office tools
Moderate problem-solving and troubleshooting by Identifying and resolving issues with existing mechanical systems
Building prototypes to test and refine designs
Familiar with various manufacturing processes, including 3D printing, part machining, and sheet metal fabrication
A basic understanding of quality principles, i.e., design for six sigma, leant manufacturing or other
