Engineering Intern, Substation Communication Engineering Team

They are seeking an Engineering Intern to support their Substation Communication Engineering Department, where the intern will assist with engineering efforts, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain network configurations. Responsibilities
Support engineering efforts on Capital Projects
Help resolve remote device connectivity issues and other device troubleshooting
Onboard and troubleshoot substation firewalls
Update and maintain the engineering lab network and device configurations
Support department automation efforts
Qualification
Required
A current Sophomore or above (as of Fall 2026)
Enrolled in an ABET accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to communicate effectively; both written and verbally
Must be self-motivated, have good mechanical aptitude, and ability to work well with others
Able to commute to the corporate office in Denver, CO - hybrid schedule
Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week)/ part-time during the fall (up to 20 hours a week)
Preferred
Course work in power generation or project management
Local to Denver, CO
Interest in the power industry or industrial control systems
