They are seeking a Technical Product Data Management Intern who will implement engineering change notices and work on special projects to enhance factory efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Implementing engineering change notices into the manufacturing and Tier 1 supplier system
Reading and executing engineering drawings, manufacturing requirements, and supplier requirements into the Otis systems
Working on special projects tied to factory efficiency and dual sourcing within the systems
Setting up a manufacturing bill of materials and factory paths within the system
Focusing on engineering CN testing process and creating a process to quickly test within database or system
Working on cross-functional teams including members from manufacturing operations, supply management, contract logistics, finance, and field support to ensure engineering changes are implemented with pace and accuracy

Required

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems, engineering, business/data analytics, or a related field
Process and data driven
Ability to work with minimal direction; self-starter
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in cross-functional teams, respect individual differences and welcome diverse thinking
Ability to approach the job with a sense of ownership in the outcome of their work
Champion of process improvement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred

Computer Science – Programming background preferred
Software experience preferred
