Required

Under close supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor II, the incumbent provides service desk support, which includes daily phone coverage, emails, ServiceNow service request submission and tracking for all Information Technology Division (ITD) customers
Service Desk support includes support for applications, software, and IT equipment
Requires knowledge, experience, and the ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365 products, Windows operating systems, iPhones, laptops, desktops, tablets, and video conferencing
Assist with Secure File Transfer Protocol process
Assist with the inventory and asset tracking
Work on a computer up to 80 percent of the time
Must be willing to work a shift starting no earlier than 8:00AM and no later than 5:00PM and cover a shift during the lunch period between 11:00AM-2:00PM
The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be numbered in the same order as the following areas, typed in 11-point Arial font, single spaced, and be no more than one page in length and margins on the top, bottom, and sides of the pages must be one inch
The SOQ page must have a header that include the Job Control# (JC#), your name, and 'Statement of Qualifications' appearing below it
All header contents must be centered
Do you have IT service desk experience? If so, how many months, years, etc.? How many users did you support?
Describe your experience providing IT customer service
What types of hardware, software, or systems have you supported in past roles? Please list specific tools, equipment, software, etc. you've worked with
If you are using list eligibility from an on-line exam to qualify for this position, you MUST include with your application any documentation (i.e., copy of transcript, degree, license, etc.) to verify meeting the MQ's or you may not be considered for the position
The MQs will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
If it is determined that an applicant does not meet the MQs of the classification, the applicant may not be considered and withheld from the eligible list
