Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform, and they are seeking a Corporate Counsel to manage the Company’s litigation docket and compliance functions. This role involves developing litigation strategies, overseeing legal matters, and providing proactive legal advice to senior management.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement litigation strategies in collaboration with external and internal legal counsel, as well as business stakeholders

Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, including pre-litigation disputes and customer complaints, lawsuits, and arbitration

Evaluate and mitigate legal risks associated with current and potential litigation, including coordination with risk management/insurance

Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

Support and conduct eDiscovery workflows, including preservation, collection, review, production, and vendor management

Support compliance and risk management initiatives, including policy development, training, and internal investigations

Partner with diverse internal business teams (compliance, HR, IT/security, finance, etc.) to proactively identify and mitigate litigation and regulatory risks

Provide proactive legal advice to senior management on litigation and compliance-related issues

Keep abreast of legal developments and industry trends to anticipate potential legal challenges and opportunities
