Director of Strategic Partnerships

The Director of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for driving new strategic partner acquisition, leading a team focused on identifying and closing new partnerships, while providing coaching and guidance to ensure success.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of individual contributors responsible for new strategic partner acquisition
Drive consistent outbound prospecting activity, pipeline creation, and deal progression across the team
Act as a hands-on player–coach, providing real-time deal strategy, objection handling, and selling guidance during pipeline reviews and live opportunities
Join partner and prospect calls as needed to support discovery, positioning, and deal progression
Set and model high standards for selling excellence, including discovery, value articulation, and partner alignment
Serve as a role model for PosterElite’s selling methodology, coaching the team on best practices and holding them accountable to execution standards
Maintain strong CRM discipline, ensuring accurate activity tracking, pipeline hygiene, and forecasting
Collaborate cross-functionally to align on positioning, enablement, and go-to-market programs that support partner acquisition
Represent PosterElite in partner-facing conversations, demos, and industry settings as needed
Hire, develop, and scale a high-performing Strategic Partnerships team as the business grows
Qualification
Required
Experience leading successful sales teams focused on new customer or new partnership acquisition
Demonstrated ability to recruit, onboard, coach, and develop high-performing individual contributors
Experience driving outbound prospecting motions and pipeline development
Strong familiarity with CRM-driven pipeline management and forecasting
Excellent communication and presentation skills in virtual and live selling environments
A revenue-first leadership mindset with clear ownership of partner acquisition outcomes and growth results
A proven track record leading teams that deliver significant, sustained revenue growth through net-new partnerships
A seller-first leadership approach: you are the best seller in the room, able to coach deals because you've personally led and closed high-impact partnership and enterprise opportunities
A seller-led leadership style grounded in firsthand deal experience, real-time coaching, and comfort operating as a hands-on player–coach in complex, partner-led acquisition environments
A strong belief that structure, process, and selling methodology are essential drivers of predictable growth—you value them and enforce them
Natural intensity and curiosity: you stay actively engaged with pipeline, performance data, and market signals
Ability to creatively align partner objectives, market trends, and PosterElite's value proposition into revenue-generating acquisition strategies
Confidence holding teams accountable to results, disciplined execution, and operating rigor
A dynamic leadership presence that challenges teams to think differently, move faster, and act with courage
Executive credibility with senior partner stakeholders, grounded in business acumen and sound judgment
High integrity, resilience, and a strong bias toward action
Preferred
Experience selling into HR teams or HR-adjacent functions is a strong plus
Deep familiarity with the HR, payroll, HCM, or workplace compliance ecosystem, including selling into HR teams or HR-related partnerships—is a strong plus
