Sammons Financial Group Companies is seeking a Computer Operator I to process and document nightly batch jobs for the PolicyLink administration system and other systems. The role involves performing batch-processing duties, documenting job status, printing reports, and maintaining documentation manuals.

Responsibilities

Perform batch-processing duties for the PolicyLink system and other systems as assigned

Document status and completion of all jobs

Print reports and other output for service areas and deliver to the appropriate staff members

Run management reports and forward completed reports via e-mail

Maintain a current documentation manual for PolicyLink batch operations

Identify production printer problems and contact printer vendor for support

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent Required

Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems

Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions

Ability to communicate with outside vendors and suppliers

Ability to lift boxes of paper weighing up to 45 pounds

Criminal background check required

Preferred

Working knowledge of Xerox printers a plus
