The CMM Layout Technician will be responsible for operating and programming coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to meet internal requirements and customer designs.

Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and execute CMM programs in accordance to customer designs and internal requirements
Interpret blueprints for a variety of machined components
Perform gage calibration and gage repair
Participate in completion of Gage R&R studies
Participate in Capability Analysis
Utilize various inspection tools to complete in-process inspections
Complete all other assigned tasks as determined by management
Qualification
Required
Prior CMM training – required
CMM field experience – 5 years
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of PC's and related software
Ability to read prints and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Knowledge of AIAG support manuals (APQP, SRC, FMEA, MSA, PPAP)
