Process Engineer
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of electronic components, seeking a Process Engineer to enhance their manufacturing processes for Wet Tantalum capacitors. The role involves developing efficient manufacturing processes, conducting capability studies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and effective manufacturing processes for Wet Tantalum capacitors
Conduct process capability studies and implement process improvement initiatives
Test and qualify new processes/ raw materials
Analyze process data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process-related issues and improve product quality
Develop and implement process documentation and work instructions
Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in industrial, Materials science, Chemical or Electrical Engineering
1-5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the electronics industry
Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principles
Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.
