Responsibilities
Strong experience with high level systems architecture & pushing it into a go live production environment - you also have the ability to talk about architecture decisions you have made that did not perform as well as planned & discuss what you learned
Build distributed systems supporting complex transformations
Design, implement, and maintain production cloud data pipelines for complex datasets
Build ETL pipelines
Qualification
Required
Proven experience writing clean, not over engineered, efficient code
Strong ability to problem solve & be incredibly detail oriented
Experience with alternative datasets that are private, public and petabyte-scale data
Core tech stack experience with Python, SQL, Snowflake and AWS
Engineering experience with design patterns, OOP, and concurrency
Strong software engineering fundamentals: system design, algorithms, data structures & data storage principles
Strong experience with high level systems architecture & pushing it into a go live production environment
Ability to discuss architecture decisions that did not perform as well as planned & discuss what you learned
Experience building distributed systems supporting complex transformations
Design, implement, and maintain production cloud data pipelines for complex datasets
Build ETL pipelines
Experience building and implementing complex machine learning models in a production environment
Strong experience using data built tools
Strong scientific background with heavy experience in statistics
Built complex intuitive Language Learning Models in a complex production environment for large data processing environments
Ability to partner with internal Applied Scientists working on rapid experimentation for new product initiatives
