Provide financial counseling to patients, explaining insurance coverage, financial assistance options, and payment responsibilities
Assist with insurance and financial assistance applications, including charity care when appropriate
Generate cost estimates and collect patient payments (co-pays, deductibles, balances)
Review and update financial and insurance information; monitor self-pay and eligibility-pending accounts
Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to resolve coverage or billing issues
Ensure accurate documentation and maintain HIPAA compliance
Support department goals and demonstrate Trinity Health values in all interactions
Qualification
