Velociti Services is seeking a hands-on HR Business Partner to support their operations teams and hourly workforce in Atlanta. This role serves as a strategic partner to site and regional leadership, balancing employee advocacy with business needs while ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted HR advisor to site and regional leadership on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning

Handle employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend corrective actions

Support and administer collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), including grievance handling and union interactions

Represent the company in unemployment hearings and handle employment verification requests

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, etc.)

Coach managers on performance management, progressive discipline, and employee development

Assist with succession planning and internal talent movement

Maintain accurate employee records and documentation, and analyze HR trends related to turnover, absenteeism, and engagement

Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, HRIS) to resolve employee issues efficiently
