Responsibilities

Works directly with business customers and technical teams on highly complex, assigned projects

Leads the analysis, design, development, and testing of business solutions, ensuring quality and performance standards are met

Analyzes, designs, and implements well-documented solutions for assigned features, often involving cross-module integration

Collaborates with technical teams to improve product functionality and provides architectural input

Mentors junior development staff and actively leads code reviews and quality assurance activities

Stays up-to-date with application roadmaps, relevant technology, and industry best practices

Identifies and resolves application security vulnerabilities

Applies application patches and/or collaborates with other teams to ensure application stack is patched against known vulnerabilities

Supporting SAP S/4HANA applications within a private cloud environment (NS2) and providing senior-level guidance

Required

Five or more years of direct work experience

Bachelors degree, certification or two additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree and certification

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business

Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job

United States Citizenship

Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

Preferred

Deep hands-on experience in the following development and applications: SQL, Python, HTML, JAVA

Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)

Demonstrated initiative to maintain technical currency through outside studies and training

Demonstrated professional experience related to: SAP S/4HANA implementation, development, or support, including exposure to S/4HANA core modules (FI, MM, SD, PP, CO)

Systems Analysis and Design methodologies for enterprise systems

Leading ERP implementation or simulation projects

Professional experience or advanced coursework with: ABAP development (classic/ABAP on HANA)

BTP Integration Suite

OData services (for Fiori/UI5 integration)

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
