Bil-Jac Foods Inc. is looking for a Sales Analytics & Business Intelligence Specialist to turn data into insights that drive smarter commercial decisions. This role focuses on sales and commercial analytics, data management, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance retail performance and customer insights in a CPG environment.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain sales dashboards tracking revenue, volume, distribution, velocity, pricing, and promotions
Analyze customer and retailer performance by channel, SKU, and account
Support Sales and Product Development teams with insights on pricing, promotions, assortment, and category performance
Create Category & Retailer reporting using syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen)
Deliver sales scorecards, customer insights, and ad-hoc analyses for leadership and customer presentations
Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI, NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, or similar BI tools
Build and optimize data models that support sales and commercial analytics
Enable self-service reporting for Sales and Commercial teams
Partner with Finance on revenue reporting, trade spend, and margin analysis
Collaborate with Supply Chain to align sales demand, inventory, and service metrics
Translate business questions into clear, actionable insights
Manage ETL processes from NetSuite ERP, syndicated data providers, and external platforms
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and metric alignment
Improve reporting automation, dashboards, and analytics workflows

Required

3–5 years of experience in sales analytics, BI, or commercial reporting, ideally in CPG or Pet
Strong understanding of CPG sales metrics, retail execution, and customer performance
Hands-on experience with Power BI (required)
SQL and advanced Excel
Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

NetSuite / NetSuite Analytics Warehouse
Experience working with syndicated data (Nielsen preferred)
Experience with trade promotion or pricing analytics
Familiarity with SPS Commerce or other retailer data platforms
Python or R for advanced analytics
Experience with AI-driven analytics or cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake)
