Responsibilities
Collaborate with external vendors to provide a responsive help desk and best in class digital experience
Operational Signal Intake: Manage onboarding and offboarding tasks, SaaS signals, and related intake/triage to ensure timely and secure enablement for users and services
Automation & Scripting: Build and maintain automation for provisioning, configuration, patching, and routine tasks
Monitoring & Alerting: Implement meaningful monitoring and reduce noise through tuned alerts across endpoints, M365/cloud, and core services
Support internal teams through troubleshooting and problem escalation when needed
Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance efficiency, collaboration, and communication within the organization
Collaborate with team to maintain appropriate procedure documentation and policies
Backup & Restore: Ensure robust backups, tested restores, and documented recovery procedures
Platform Management: Manage and Improve endpoint/MDM, Microsoft 365, and core services (directory, auth, servers). Maintain secure, supportable baselines
Project Delivery & Collaboration: Execute projects sponsored by the Director, providing operational input and delivering against scope and reliability/security objectives
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or technical support
Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack, Okta, and cloud-based SaaS tools
Experience managing endpoint devices (macOS, Windows) via MDM tools (e.g., Kandji, Jamf, Intune)
Familiarity with IT security principles, identity and access management, and data privacy
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills
Passion for supporting mission-driven work and Come Near's values
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a remote environment
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR)
