Senior LevelRapidTee Golf is a platform that helps golfers find and book premium tee times. As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will collaborate with product and design teams to create scalable products and take ownership of technical decisions throughout the engineering process.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with product and design teams to turn visions into scalable products that golfers love
Take ownership of technical decisions and drive projects from concept to deployment
Ship code multiple times per day to production with autonomy
Build robust, well-tested APIs that power our web and mobile applications
Own all parts of the engineering process, from system design and architecture to deployment and maintenance
Qualification
Required
A desire for building high-quality web applications that thousands of users rely on
A belief in shipping early and often and iterating based on feedback
Strong collaboration and communication skills and an eagerness to thrive in a fast-moving environment
Deep knowledge and experience with TypeScript and Node.js — we use Node.js with TypeScript to power our backend (and SvelteKit on the frontend)
Experience with relational SQL databases, schema, migrations, and query optimization. We use PostgreSQL for our database
A passion for application performance and optimization. It's not an afterthought, it's a core part of the engineering process
