Chico's FAS, Inc. is a leading fashion retailer in North America, encompassing brands such as Chico's, White House Black Market, and Soma. The Design Intern will assist the design team with executing seasonal collections and gain exposure to product line development, concept, and design.

Responsibilities

Be exposed to the total business processes and procedures

Gain an understanding of the roles of the retail professionals

Assist with special projects as assigned

Resume and portfolio (portfolios only needed for Design Applications)

Applicants to this position must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred

Experience in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)

Exposure to tech packs and hand/computer flats

An eye for trend, color, print and pattern

Junior or Senior status at an accredited college or university with minimum GPA of 3.0

Interest in pursuing a career in retail

Strong communication, organizational skills, and an eagerness to learn
