Division Vice President, Marketing

AMETEK is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions. The Division Vice President, Marketing will oversee the Advanced Motion Solutions Division’s Global Marketing Team, developing and implementing strategies to enhance growth and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

Oversee all marketing communication in a matrix environment; ensure compliance and introduce best practices
Develop and implement uniform messaging across AMS brands
Optimize AI and digital tools; champion e-commerce initiatives
Ensure CRM data quality and usage consistency; leverage LCR resources for efficiency
Track and optimize marketing spend
Mentor and develop BU marketing teams across several time zones
Improve upon the division’s marketing strategy at both the division and business unit levels, applying consistency in approach where practical
Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (web, social media, email, paid advertising, SEO/SEM)
Leverage data analytics and marketing automation tools to optimize campaign performance and ROI
Stay current with digital marketing trends and technologies, implementing best practices to drive engagement and conversion
Use creative marketing strategies to build relationships with stakeholders
Provide real-time data tracking and analytics for more targeted and personalized marketing campaigns
Track activities of competitors and look for opportunities to gain market share within each business unit
Increase brand awareness for each business unit through development and implementation of a cohesive marketing plan
Research macro trends and develop penetration strategy for relevant BU brands
Assess early trends/new applications to provide input to product roadmaps
Champion division wide market segment focused growth kaizens
Work with Division and Corporate Business Development to identify targets for acquisition both in motion and adjacent OEM markets
Strengthen AMS brand architecture and global messaging
Drive demand generation, pricing discipline, and product lifestyle management
Establish marketing performance metrics (pipeline growth, ROMI, price/mix improvement)

Required

Proven experience in a senior marketing role; 12-15 years in B2B industrial marketing leadership with multi-business unit responsibly
Experience working with and managing team members in low-cost regions of the world
Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills
Strong strategic agility, commercial acumen and ability to lead in a matrix environment
B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Marketing, Business Administration, or technical (STEM degree) with a marketing background
MBA preferred
Ability to understand complex and technical products and customer solutions is a must
Understanding of market nuances across various countries and regions to ensure effective messaging
