Armed Services YMCA National Headquarters is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join their team as a full-time Administrative and Program Assistant. This role involves providing support in program management, administrative tasks, and volunteer coordination to positively impact military families and the community.

Responsibilities

Collaborate seamlessly with our exceptional team, ensuring program needs are met, sometimes even filling in for a program lead
Serve as the knowledgeable go to for program information and referrals
Keep our member data and reference systems organized and up to date
Provide program reporting, correspondence, and statistics with precision
Ensure the office is well organized and supplied
Help coordinate family and special events that leave lasting memories
Handle phone calls, emails and inquiries like the welcoming and friendly pro you are
Arrange for repairs and maintenance to keep everything running smoothly
Manage income and expenses diligently, with accuracy being your middle name
Keep the petty cash in perfect balance
Prepare bank deposits and maintain financial records and order
Assist with donor files and acknowledgements
Inspire, recruit and train volunteers – they’re the heart of our organization
Maintain volunteer records and track their invaluable contributions
Be ready for any exciting tasks assigned by the Branch Director or the Executive Director

Required

CPR Certificate
Must live on Oahu
Impeccable customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Tech savvy or willing to learn
Basic bookkeeping skills
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Understanding of the military lifestyle
Ability to thrive under pressure
Ability to collaborate with diverse teams
Ability to engage with the community
Valid driver's license
Pristine driving record
