American Residential Services is a national leader providing plumbing and HVAC products and services. They are seeking a Dispatcher to schedule technician appointments, manage customer calls, and ensure efficient dispatching of service technicians.

Responsibilities

Set and schedule technician appointments for jobs

Ensure service technicians are dispatched efficiently

Answer customer calls within a busy office and enter customer data into the computer

Resolve and assist customers by taking incoming calls and making outbound calls

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent, or a combination of related experience and/or advanced training/education

One or more years of experience as a dispatcher or in customer service

Availability to work a Wednesday through Sunday schedule

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

A strong degree of self-motivation to provide exceptional customer service to customers by phone while directing technicians by radio and tracking devices

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple appointments

Demonstrated listening, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word

Knowledge of the local geographic territory

Must pass background check and drug screening
