Associate Sales Director
Place Showroom is the epicenter for emerging brands, and they are seeking an Associate Director of Sales to join their West Coast team. The role involves developing sales strategies, mentoring a team, and cultivating relationships with key retailers to drive growth and expansion in the wholesale apparel industry.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a regional strategic plan for growth and expansion for our contemporary business through existing and new distribution channels across retailers
Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and develop a team through a sense of teamwork and collaboration
Cultivate strong relationships with key specialty retailers
Collaborate with cross functional partners across sales, merchandising, operations and finance
Drive new business development initiatives
Qualification
Required
extensive experience in the wholesale apparel industry, with strong relationships in the women's contemporary market
Strong time management skills; motivated and takes initiative, works efficiently
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exercises excellent judgment when decision making
Display professionalism with individuals at all levels in and outside the organization
Willingness to adapt to an expanding environment
High degree of accuracy and organizational skills
Technically savvy particularly with Excel
Must be located in the LA metro area, no remote candidates will be considered
Must to be able to travel up to 40% of the year
