Responsibilities
Lead the monthly sales VA forecast process for PO. Collaborate with the sales team to gather customer level forecast updates, translate to the financial forecast, and consolidate for management review
Communicate targets to the plant leadership and finance teams, highlighting any gaps or concerns to management
Analyze, report and communicate on monthly financial performance and key financial trends, including investigating any discrepancies noted in financial results and investigating any significant variances or shifts in forecast
Manage the monthly BU financial forecasting process by overseeing the associated consolidation of the BU wide forecast
Assist in developing and supporting product level margin analysis to drive decision making related to new products, pricing and company growth opportunities
Act as the PO OneStream super user which entails being the PO resource for OneStream questions, business updates, and ad hoc questions/requests
Collaborate with Corporate FP&A Team to support finance transformation projects, providing PO representation and acting as the liaison for corporate and the BU on projects (including current datalake/Power BI project)
Support direct requests by the BU Leadership Team, which includes preparing analysis, reporting, presentations, and business results commentary, and reporting out to the Leadership Team on findings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
8-10 years of experience in a financial role
Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Strong background in financial modeling to support decision making (product margin analysis, pricing strategies, and growth opportunities)
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction
Preferred
Experience in a global manufacturing company is preferred
Experience using data analytics and data visualization is a plus
