Responsibilities
Design, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
Own and evolve DevOps and platform strategy, including CI/CD, container orchestration, and cloud-native best practices
Design and manage networking architectures, including AWS networking (VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect) and physical/on-prem integrations where applicable
Drive infrastructure and platform support for global payment systems and payment networks
Partner closely with Engineering, Security, and Product teams across multiple regions
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps and infrastructure engineers, including offshore teams
Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, system diagrams, and architecture decision records
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-driven DevOps tooling and AWS agentic AI capabilities, where appropriate
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including compute, networking, security, and managed services
Proven experience in architecture design for complex, distributed systems
Deep understanding of networking concepts, both cloud-based and physical
Strong experience with Kubernetes, container platforms, and infrastructure as code
Experience supporting or integrating with payment platforms or global payment networks
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation and system diagrams
Preferred
Experience in a Staff level role with broad technical ownership
Management or team leadership experience, particularly with international or offshore teams
Experience operating systems at global scale with high availability and compliance requirements
Familiarity with AI-enabled DevOps, automation, or AWS agentic AI services
Prior experience in regulated environments (e.g., PCI, SOC, financial services)
