Program Manager

Responsibilities
Lead and manage large-scale projects from inception through completion, ensuring all phases, including scope definition, resource allocation, and process redesign, are handled effectively
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to drive the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and stakeholder requirements
Manage interdependencies within the program, ensuring the various components are well-coordinated and risks are mitigated proactively
Oversee the final delivery of the program, ensuring that all governance, process changes, and control mechanisms are implemented
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring smooth communication and resolution of defects using tools like JIRA
Identify and assess risks, proposing and executing solutions to enhance program delivery and efficiency
Maintain clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders, keeping them informed of the program’s progress, changes, and challenges
Supervise both internal and external resources, fostering career development for direct reports and ensuring optimal team performance
Produce regular status reports, manage the program’s risk log, and facilitate working group meetings for consistent progress tracking
Work with the Governance team to maintain compliance with reporting standards and ensure all documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date
Qualification
Required
Eligibility for this role requires US Citizenship or Green Card
Proven experience leading large, cross-functional projects, particularly in complex financial institutions
Ability to structure initiatives, plan effectively, and manage budgets
Strong understanding of finance, risk management, operations, and the technologies that support these areas
Expertise in managing regulatory changes and compliance requirements
Knowledge of financial products like Loans, Derivatives, Securities, and Repurchase Agreements
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams, promoting career growth, and managing change in a dynamic environment
Advanced stakeholder management experience, particularly across diverse functions and committees
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
