2027 Summer Analyst Program - Capital Markets (New York)

They are seeking interns for their Summer Analyst Program in Capital Markets, where participants will engage in financial analysis, assist with live deals, and develop relationships within the Capital Markets team.

Responsibilities
Participate in an immersive orientation and rigorous technical training program that is focused on building a strong foundation in financial analysis, accounting and valuation skills
Create pitch books, market updates, pricing updates, and other client materials
Assist in live deals including origination, structuring and syndication of debt and equity offerings
Monitor the global markets to identify trends and develop insights used in client communications
Develop relationships with Capital Markets professionals and more broadly across TD Securities
Builds an understanding of the businesses and Customers the role supports
May answer and direct incoming calls internally and externally
Provides support for Manager and others areas, as indicated
May assist in completing various departmental projects/reports
May assist in the Preparation of specific schedules related to the monthly/quarterly/yearly reports or projects
Analyzes specific accounts
Assists in the preparation of specific federal and state returns
Assists with projects
Assists in the audit requests
Assists with operational and administrative functions
May support or partner with several business functions/areas/departments
Participates in various projects and tasks, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
Authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Results driven, proven academic excellence and strong interpersonal skills
High ethical and professional standards
Strong financial/analytical skills
Proactive and highly motivated
Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
Demonstrated leadership (i.e., sports, clubs, extracurricular activities, and philanthropy, etc.)
High School Diploma required
Currently enrolled in 4 year college program or post graduate program
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrated leadership qualities
Good written and oral communications skills
Detail oriented and self-motivated
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in an office environment
Preferred
3.2 GPA or higher preferred
Knowledge of MS Excel preferred
