Bariatric Clin Database Coord - RN required

The Bariatric Clinical Database Coordinator will assist in the operational facets of the Bariatric surgical program, primarily responsible for data management and improvement projects to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities
Assist in the facilitation of all operational facets of the Bariatric surgical program
Collect and submit reliable data to the bariatric database
High-quality data compilation, documentation and entry into the bariatric database of all eligible primary and provisional bariatric surgeries for the hospital
Work closely with the members of the bariatric surgery team to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and other special projects
Identify performance improvement projects/activities which ensure that bariatric surgical patients receive optimal care in inpatient and outpatient settings through guidelines established within the bariatric clinical pathways
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered nurse in a relevant acute care setting, preferably with bariatric patients
Graduate of an approved, accredited School of Nursing
Current licensure as a registered nurse in New Jersey
BLS required
Preferred
BSN preferred
Certified bariatric nurse preferred, must be obtained within 2 years of hire
