The role focuses on cloud cost management, infrastructure costing, financial modeling, and executive-level reporting to enable informed technology investment decisions.

Responsibilities
Support Technology Business Management (TBM) and FinOps initiatives with a strong focus on operational financial analysis
Analyze and manage technology costs across Cloud, Security, and Infrastructure environments
Develop and maintain total cost models, consumption metrics, utilization tracking, and standardized tagging/taxonomy
Deliver executive and stewardship-level financial and operational reporting to support short- and long-term technology decisions
Improve accuracy, transparency, and maturity of IT service costing, chargeback/showback, and billing models
Conduct technology vendor reviews, pricing analysis, contract negotiations, and benchmarking
Support IT service management processes aligned with ITIL and enterprise service management practices
Integrate and optimize reporting using Microsoft tools (Power BI, Excel, Power Query, Teams)
Work with large datasets to perform advanced financial and cost analysis
Support continuous improvement of TBM and FinOps tools, processes, and reporting frameworks
Assist with workflow and process mapping and contribute to TBM/FinOps role and capability development
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in TBM and FinOps operations, including cloud cost management
Advanced understanding of IT financial management, infrastructure costing, and service-based costing
Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure) and cloud consumption cost analysis
Hands-on experience with TBM/FinOps tools such as Apptio (One, Cloudability), ClearCost, Yarken
Proficiency in ServiceNow and PeopleSoft
Strong knowledge of ITIL, service management, and operational financial processes
Advanced financial modeling, reporting, and data analysis skills
Experience working in large enterprises or healthcare environments is a strong plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level stakeholders
Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Accounting, or related field
Preferred
TBM and/or FinOps Certification
ITIL Certification
