Responsibilities
Analyze current production procedures and standards to identify inefficiencies
Spend time on the production floor analyzing both employee and machinery workflow to find out where the process can be streamlined for lower costs and higher productivity while maintaining safety and quality
Assist in the monitoring of government requirements (EPA, OSHA, etc.) to ensure work centers are in compliance with established standards
Interact with individuals throughout the company, as well as individuals external to the company
Identify and/or generate all documentation related to the integration of new products into the production environment
Perform analysis of part design characteristics, specifications and tolerances of parts, manufacturing process design, set up and tooling. Identification of subsequent changes to manufacturing drawings, as necessary
Optimize processes to meet objectives of lowering cost and/or improving quality and productivity
Provide the proper documentation in the assembly and maintenance along with other technical files to Maintenance & Facilities Engineer prior to project completion
Monitor the new procedures and report successes and failures to the Manufacturing Manager at project completion
Actively promote process improvement to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations and to secure the future business position in the marketplace
Attend meetings and contribute to new product design review
Ensure the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Environmental Management System which includes but not limited to significant environmental aspects, compliance obligations and environmental risks
Support the continual improvement and compliance of QMS
Perform job functions in a manner that supports TriMark’s mission, vision and values in order for the company to attain its strategic and growth goals
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in manufacturing processes
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing
Ability to collaborate with a cross functional team
Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
Monitoring and analyzing process data
Identifying trends and proposing solutions for process improvement
Monitoring and analyzing process performance metrics
Providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise
Training and guidance to the production team
Staying up to date with advancements in process engineering technologies
Establishing documentation related to the process
Assisting Product Design with manufacturability
Managing projects on spec, on time, and on budget
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to interact with individuals throughout the company and externally
Performing analysis of part design characteristics and manufacturing process design
Optimization of processes to lower cost and improve quality and productivity
Providing proper documentation for assembly and maintenance
Monitoring new procedures and reporting to the Manufacturing Manager
Promoting process improvement for compliance with industry standards
Contributing to new product design review
Ensuring implementation and continual improvement of the Environmental Management System
Supporting continual improvement and compliance of QMS
