Responsibilities
Represent lender-side clients in complex commercial real estate finance matters
Lead and manage loan origination transactions, including senior loans, mezzanine loans, and preferred equity structures
Draft primary loan documents and oversee transactions from initial structuring to closing and post-closing activities
Support asset management and workout matters, including modifications and restructuring
Assist with secondary market repurchase facilities and various exit strategies
Collaborate with a national team of attorneys across multiple practice areas
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials
4+ years of commercial real estate finance experience at a reputable law firm
Experience with structured finance, mezzanine loans, preferred equity, and loan origination required
Strong drafting skills with the ability to handle primary loan documents independently
Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation abilities
Ability to manage several transactions at once in a fast-paced environment
Team-focused approach and the ability to navigate complex finance matters efficiently
Active bar admission in the state where the candidate will practice
