Responsibilities
Design, implement, integrate, and test digital systems specifically regarding FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) technology
Develop Verilog, VHDL, and HDL designs for FPGAs
Modify and/or design special purpose, custom RF System on a Chip (RFSoC) boards for real-time, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) missile integration
Troubleshooting and test support as needed
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution required
3-5 years of demonstrated experience is required
Strong FPGA design experience in VHDL or Verilog
Strong DSP background using FPGAs
Digital filter design and DDS experience required
Experience using PCIe, DDR Ram, multi-gigabit serial, and ethernet protocols with FPGAs and microprocessors
Knowledge of basic serial communication protocols, UART, I2C, SPI, 8B10B
Mixed signal PCB design experience
Proficient with the use of basic test equipment, oscilloscopes, function generators, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers
U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance required
Preferred
Xilinx RFSoC experience is preferred, and/or experience with high-speed ADCs/DACs and FPGAs
