Responsibilities
Participate in Shift Report
Perform routine patient care in accordance with Federal, State, Company and Center nursing policies and procedures
Employs preventative and restorative measures
Follows hand washing techniques and other infection control guidelines during the performance of patient care
Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor
Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation
Reports medication reorder, etc
Participates in all assigned meetings
Participates in all training, education or in-service as required
Inventory drugs, on the designated forms, as they arrive
Qualification
Required
Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing
Current certification for Medication Aide
Preferred
Previous patient care experience preferred
