Responsibilities
Teach Principles of Residential Building Construction Inspections course as part of the Building Construction Management AAS degree program
Prepare course materials and deliver lectures
Assess and evaluate student performance
May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or higher in a related field, plus 4 years work experience in plans review and inspections for a local jurisdiction
ICC certification as a Residential Building Inspector is required
Preferred
Master Code Professional (MCP) certification is preferred
Occupational experience in the field
Experience with Learning Management System or other online course management tools is a plus. Training will be provided
College level teaching experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
The ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students
