Lead Licensed Clinician Outpatient Psychotherapy Team ***Internal Only***
Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a highly energetic and motivated Lead Licensed Clinician to join their Rapid Access Team. This position plays a key role in providing oversight of clinical operations while delivering high-quality, evidence-based services to individuals seeking care.

Responsibilities
Provides ongoing clinical and administrative supervision to staff providing services to clients
Oversees the work of staff as assigned; coaches, counsels, and evaluates staff performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems of staff
Performs intakes, client assessments and diagnostic interviews; conducts mental health assessment and monitors level of functioning
Observes treatment services facilitated by subordinates to clients and provides clinical feedback
Monitors and audits clinical and medical records and practices for compliance with regulatory, reimbursement and agency standards; reviews documentation for accuracy; reviews and signs paperwork of clinicians as needed
Facilitates staff meetings in the absence of the supervisor to discuss client concerns or changes and clinical practice; consults with teams in the planning and development of treatment and discharge plans
Serves as a representative at interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and clinical staffings/case consultations; attends other meetings as required
Develops ongoing clinical trainings to meet the needs of the team
Monitors client compliance with discharge plans
Represents clients and Authority in court and legal proceedings
Prepares various reports and case related correspondence
Attends professional conferences and trainings as required
Supervises student interns as directed
Qualification
Required
Licensed clinician with appropriate credentials
Experience in providing direct clinical services
Ability to perform intakes, client assessments, and diagnostic interviews
Experience in developing treatment plans and providing therapy
Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities
Experience in clinical supervision and staff management
Ability to monitor and audit clinical and medical records for compliance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in both office-based and telehealth settings
Commitment to professional growth and development
Preferred
Experience with concurrent documentation and advanced technology
Experience in a leadership role within a clinical setting
Familiarity with regulatory and reimbursement standards
Experience in training and developing clinical staff
Experience in representing clients in court and legal proceedings
