Senior Web Developer (React, NextJS)

Marvin is a family-owned and -led window and door company committed to creating better ways of living. They are looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer to support their digital product teams by providing technical leadership, mentoring, and developing new customer-facing product capabilities using React and NextJS.

Real Estate

Responsibilities

Design and develop new and engaging customer-facing components and applications
Maintain CI/CD pipelines
Maintain and update project dependencies as well as fix any conflicts
Integrate frontend React components with various backend REST APIs
Maintain existing React components, including fixing bugs
Mentor less-experienced team members
Supporting testing and quality assurance activities
Collaborate with the rest of the development team to design and implement front-end architecture that is scalable, maintainable, and composable

Required

7+ years of experience building web applications with React
Proficient with NextJS, including React Server Components
Strong understanding of fundamental React concepts and principles, including functional components, hooks, and the Context API
Experience with Git and understanding of common branching strategies
Experience with headless content management systems like StoryBlok or Contentful
Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and Vercel
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred

Experience working with UX Design and/or working with UX designers
Experience working with digital product teams in an Agile environment
Understand SEO concepts and best practices
Understand conversion optimization concepts like A/B testing and personalization
