Senior Software Engineer - Global Commercial Services Technology

Responsibilities
Oversee all technical aspects of our authorization layer that powers the global @Work application and over 70+ mission critical servicing applications
Focus on implementing our Point of Arrival (POA) authorization layer and delivery of features and enhancements for the entire global registration portfolio
Qualification
Required
6+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience such as: Wide breadth of engineering experience
Proven experience leading improvement on teams
Hands-on expertise with application design, software development, and automated testing
Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred
Extensive testing experience with advocation for developers testing to build quality in
Experience with and advocation for modern engineering practices like: TDD, BDD, ATDD, Trunk Based Development, Domain Driven Design, Evolutionary Design, and Continuous Delivery
Understanding of authorizations domain and industry standards (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML)

Java : 3+ years
SQL, ETL, Data experience 2+ years
Preferred
Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams, including setting technical direction and driving execution across multiple initiatives
Expertise in designing and developing distributed systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and security
Experience in implementing authentication and authorization flows within enterprise-scale applications
RDBMs experience
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience engaging cross-functional teams including product, design, and infosec
