Groupe Managem is a multicultural, international organization in the mining sector. They are seeking a Health and Safety Engineer to implement, monitor, and improve occupational health and safety systems at their industrial sites.

Responsibilities

Identifying and assessing occupational risks on the ground (for employees and subcontractors)
Participating in the implementation of the site’s HSE action plan and contributing to the continuous improvement of existing systems
Ensuring compliance with HSE standards, in line with local regulations and Group requirements
Participating in internal HSE audits and assisting in the resolution of non-conformities
Monitoring incidents and accidents: conducting analyses, writing reports, and proposing corrective and preventive actions
Ensuring proper use of personal and collective protective equipment
Contributing to training, awareness, and information campaigns for teams
Supporting the site in certification processes (notably ISO 45001)
Collaborating cross-functionally with QHSE, maintenance, and production teams

Required

Degree in QHSE Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within an industrial setting, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sectors
Knowledge of HSE standards and applicable regulations
Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong observational skills
Strong communication and awareness-building abilities
Proficiency in risk analysis tools, action planning, and performance indicators
Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with site stakeholders
