Communications Team Lead

Responsibilities

Oversee the design, configuration, administration, and sustainment of communication platforms to ensure 24x7x365 availability
Manage system performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting for call routing, VoIP, SIP trunking, PRI lines, and digital display networks
Ensure system security compliance with DoD STIGs, IAVAs, NMCI, and Cybersecurity directives
Coordinate after-hours and weekend support for system upgrades, patches, testing, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with the Program Manager and other technical leads to ensure integration of communication systems with ITSM tools and enterprise services
Maintain documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and operational instructions

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.)
Must have at least ten (10+) years of experience with call center systems (Genesys/ACD) and digital signage administration
Must have an Operating System environment certification (e.g., Win10, Win11, MS Server)
Must have a BA/BS in Computer Sciences or Information Technology, or related fields

Preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures
Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems
Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
